In-Coil UV-C Light

The A-Series UV mounts a germicidal UV-C lamp inside your ductwork, aimed at the air-conditioner coil — the damp, dark spot where mold and bacteria love to grow. It runs around the clock, keeping that surface clean so the system isn't circulating microbial growth through your house.

That keeps the musty smell out of your AC air, helps the coil run efficiently, and prevents the slimy biofilm that's a leading cause of clogged drain lines and stained ceilings — something we saw constantly in restoration work.

One honest note: UV kills microbes, but it does nothing for dust, dander, or pollen — those are particles you catch with a filter, not a light. If allergies are the concern, you want the A-Series filter, not this. It's an Aprilaire unit; the bulb is a simple 1–2 year service item handled through Cardinal Care.
